Our Veterinary Services

Preventative Veterinary Care Services

Routine veterinary visits are important to maintain the health of your equine companion in many ways. In addition to maintaining a good healthcare routine to prevent disease & promote longevity, regular visits by RGE can help identify potential concerns before they become major problems.

Reproductive Services

Equine reproductive procedures are routine veterinary care for mares and stallions. These procedures include ultrasounds, breeding management with chilled semen, mare BSE, and pregnant mare care. All of these procedures are necessary for the health and well-being of the horse.

Field Medicine

Minor surgical procedures can be performed in the field.  Whether they are planned or unplanned RGE is here to assist you in all situations.

I decided to breed Morgans 6 years ago to help preserve this amazing breed and share them with others. I wanted to have a small group of mares and utilize stallions across the country to specialize in Foundation Breeding. I met Dr. Galow when she helped me get a mare bred AI/frozen with ease and made the whole process much easier. She wrote me detailed information answering all of my questions and we ended up with a lovely filly on the first try! Since this first experience, she has helped me with several other mares and has given me so much knowledge and understanding of the breeding process. I always know she will be kind and patient as I learn.

I was thrilled to learn that Dr. Galow was starting her own private practice and that she would be willing to travel to my farm! We have three foals coming next year and having her expertise at my farm without having to travel to get ultrasounds and care has been amazing! Working full-time and trying to do this all is no easy feat and she has helped make this much easier and more comfortable for the mares.

My horses really appreciate her calm and kind demeanor. I feel they can sense she is there to care for them. I also love her detailed follow-up emails/calls to clarify what we talked about to ensure I have the information I need after her visits! I am looking forward to her support, knowledge, and kindness as we embark on this endeavor and continue to learn.
